Information on Bandwidth (BW)

The bandwidth is the difference between the minimum and the maximum frequencies that can be passed by a communications system. In the case of speech signals, the bandwidth is therefore 3,400-300 Hz = 3,100 Hz. The available bandwidth also dictates the channel data transmission rate.
