Information on Spread spectrum

A spread-spectrum signal occupies a bandwidth much greater than that of the message signal it conveys. There are two main types of spread spectrum technique: direct sequence spread spectrum, and frequency hopping.

Other topics in our resources on Communications Systems related to Spread spectrum include:

  • Frequency modulation (FM)
  • Angle modulation
  • Demodulation
  • Phase modulation (PM)
  • Amplitude-shift keying (ASK)
  • Frequency-shift keying (FSK)
  • Quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM)
  • Frequency hopping (FH)
  • Phase-shift keying (PSK)
