Information on Base Station Antenna

A base station antenna is the antenna at the base station of cellular mobile phone network. The base station antenna is usually mounted on an antenna mast (or antenna tower). A base station antenna may be an omnidirectional antenna, or a directional antenna (known as a sectoring antenna.)
     The term base station antenna is also sometimes used to describe the antenna of a fixed, amateur radio installation.
