Information on C-band Horn Antenna

A C-band horn antenna couples energy between free space and a waveguide. An important function of the C-band horn antenna is impedance matching.
A C-band horn antenna is usually optimised to work in the C band. For example, in a satellite antenna, a C-band horn antenna is often placed at the focus of a parabolic antenna. A different horn antenna would usually be used in each of the X band, C band, Ku band and Ka band.
