Antennas — Delta Antenna
Information on Delta Antenna
A delta antenna is a vertical, triangle-shaped antenna
that is used for HF skywave communications. One arm of
the triangle is horizontal at the bottom of the antenna,
the other two arms meet at the centre top of
the antenna. The delta antenna is fed at
middle of the base.
A delta antenna is a
travelling wave antenna.
Delta antennas are most commonly used as HF
antennas.
