Information on Grid Antenna

A grid antenna is usually a reflector antenna in which a grid conductor is used in place of a solid conductor. The use of a grid antenna leads to a significant weight saving, and a reduced wind loading, each of which can lead to greatly reduced stress on the antenna mount and antenna masts.
