An HF dipole antenn is formed by splitting the two
wires of a two-wire transmission line, and bending them back
to form a single straight line. The antenna feed is
in the middle of the dipole antenna, where the split
occurs. An HF dipole antenna is a resonant antenna.
HF
dipole antennas are used in in all frequency bands.
