Information on Rhombic Antenna

A rhombic antenna is a travelling wave antenna use for skywave communications. A rhombic antenna has the shape of a horizontal rhombus, which is supported on masts. One mast is usually placed at each corner of the rhombus. A typical rhombic antenna covers an area about the size of a football field.
     The rhombic antenna is most commonly used as an HF antenna.
     A rhombic antenna is a broadband antenna.
