Information on UHF Adcock Antenna

A UHF Adcock antenna is made up of four antenna elements (each of which is usually a monopole antenna), each of which is mounted at a corner of a square.
     The most common application of the UHF Adcock antenna is in electronic warfare, where it is used for direction finding (DF) against UHF transmitters.
     A UHF Adcock antenna receives vertically polarised radiation, and is directional in the vertical plane.
