A VHF Adcock antenna is made up of
four antenna elements (each of which is usually a VHF
monopole antenna), each of which is mounted at a corner
of a square.
The most common application of the VHF Adcock
antenna is in electronic warfare, where it is
used for direction finding (DF) of VHF transmitters.
