Information on VHF Dipole Antenna

A dipole antenn is formed by splitting the two wires of a two-wire transmission line, and bending them back to form a single straight line. The antenna feed is in the middle of the dipole antenna, where the split occurs.
     A VHF dipole antenna is a narrowband antenna, operating efficiently in only a narrow band of frequencies. A VHFdipole antenna is a resonant antenna.
