Appliances Glossary

Floor Lamp.  A floor lamp is designed to be used as a general purpose light that can be used to light a whole room, and also as a reading light.

Food Processing.  Food processing systems are used for fine chopping, mixing and blending of ingredients.

Food Processor.  Food processor is the generic name for devices that chop and mix foods.

Freezer.  A freezer is used to preserve food by freezing.

Front Loader (Front-Loading Washing Machine).  A front loader is a washing machine, or washer, where the clothes enter via the front of the machine.
