Description

An electric clothes dryer uses a combination of heat and motion to dry clothes and other items. A clothes dryer may allow control over the temperature and drying time. Some modern types of clothes dryer can be programmed to continue until the contents have finished drying.
    

Different types of Clothes Dryer

  • Most modern dryers are tumble dryers, which means that the body of the drying chamber spins.
  • A reverse tumble dryer alternates the direction of spin of the drying chamber.

  • Wall mounting—many dryers can be mounted on the wall. They are ofen placed above a washing machine (or clothes washer) to save space.
