Description

Unlike other heating and cooling systems, an electric heat pump can provide both heating and cooling from the one unit. A modern electric heat pump also has a very high efficiency.
    

Different types of Electric Heat Pump

  • Installed unit, which may cover one room or a whole building with suitable air ducts. Many electric heat pumps of this type are split units, with part of the system inside, and part outside the building.
  • Portable unit, which might be operated in a window space, or have a duct to the outside air.
