Digital Subscriber Line Broadband (Digital subscriber line) technology allows broadband data services to be carried on conventional copper pair telephone cables. The capacity provided depends on the distance between the subscriber's premises and the local telephone exchange.
     A Digital Subscriber Line Broadband connection (often known as an xDSL connection) can be:

  • ADSL broadband
  • HDSL broadband
  • ISDN broadband
  • satellite broadband
  • RADSL broadband
