Broadband Internet — Internet Service Provider

Information on Internet Service Provider

Users connect to the Internet through an Internet Service Provider (Internet Service Provider). In addition to providing a gateway to the Internet, the Internet Service Provider may also provide other services, such as web hosting and an email server.
     An Internet Service Provider may have peer-to-peer connections with other Internet Service Provider, as well as connections to the backbone of the Internet.
