Information on ADSL Splitter

An ADSL Splitter is required in ADSL systems to all a broadband signal and a conventional telephone signal to be carried over the same channel.
     An ADSL Splitter is a three-port device, with one port for the external connection to the telephone exchange, one for the internal analog telephone connection and one for the internal broadband connection. An ADSL Splitter is a frequency division multipler/demultiplexer, multiplexing outgoing signals to the telephone exchange and demultiplexing signals received.
