Information on DSL Splitter

A DSL Splitter is required in DSL systems to all a broadband signal and a conventional telephone signal to be carried over the same channel.
     A DSL Splitter is a three-port device, with one port for the external connection to the telephone exchange, one for the internal analog telephone connection and one for the internal broadband connection. A DSL Splitter is a frequency division multipler/demultiplexer, multiplexing outgoing signals to the telephone exchange and demultiplexing signals received.
