Information on HDSL Splitter

An HDSL Splitter is required in HDSL systems to all a broadband signal and a conventional telephone signal to be carried over the same channel.
     An HDSL Splitter is a three-port device, with one port for the external connection to the telephone exchange, one for the internal broadband connection and one for the internal analog telephone connection. An HDSL Splitter is a frequency division multipler/demultiplexer, multiplexing outgoing signals to the telephone exchange and demultiplexing signals received.
