Information on RADSL Modem

In the context of an RADSL broadband Internet connection, the RADSL modem is situated in the customer's premises, and is used to encode signals sent over the RADSL channel to the ISP and decode signals received from the ISP. The RADSL modem may provide different data rates on the uplink and downlink.
The RADSL modem incorporates a handshaking protocol that is used to adapt the rate of the link when it is initialised.
