CDMA — Electronic Serial Number

Information on Electronic Serial Number

The electronic serial number (ESN) is a security measure in CDMA mobile phones. The electronic serial number is used in generating CDMA encryption keys. Knowledge of the electronic serial number is required to clone a CDMA mobile phone.
