Information on Free MMS

Free MMS trials are being offered by many network operators to increase the usage by mobile phone users of their MMS systems.
Because of the much larger amounts of data in MMS than SMS, is unlikely that a large number of long term free MMS services will be available.
The CDMA MMS (multimedia messaging service) allows users to send and receive messages containing multimedia content (including images, video, audio and text). Applications include personal messaging and delivery of paid content. The ability to deliver efficiently paid content is seen as an important step in allowing companies other than CDMA network operators to make money out of the service.
