Information on Range

The range of a CDMA system is affected by:
    

  • the height of the mobile station and base station antenna

    •     
  • terrain

    •     
  • the maximum transmit power

    •      CDMA does not suffer from the range limitation in GSM imposed by synchronisation of the time-division multiple access (TDMA) bursts.
