Information on W-CDMA PRACH

The W-CDMA PRACH is used by the 3G W-CDMA mobile equipment to establish a channel to the W-CDMA Base Transceiver Station (W-CDMA BTS). The W-CDMA PRACH exists only on the uplink. The W-CDMA PRACH transmits a synchronization signal consisting of one or more preambles to the BTS.
