Information on Voice service

The CDMA voice service provides toll-quality speech at a data rate of 9.6 kbps in one full-rate traffic channel. The difference between the usable data rate and the raw channel data rate is used for carrying parity bits for the CDMA channel coding.
     Some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the voice quality in CDMA.
