Information on Global Roaming

A subscriber to one GSM network operator can use their GSM mobile phone to communicate through the network of a different network operator. This feaure of GSM is known as global roaming. It relies on service agreements between network operators, which usually exist between network operators in different countries, but do not usually exist between GSM network operators in the same country.
