V.27ter is an ITU fax modem standard. Characteristics of a V.27ter modem include:

  • Bit rate: 4800, 2400 bps
  • Modulation: 8 PSK
  • Carrier frequency: 1800 Hz

     V.27ter is used with Group 3 fax systems.
