Information on V.32ter Modem

V.32ter is an ITU standard for PSTN modems with a maximum bit rate of 19.2 kbps. V.32ter has the following characteristics:

  • Maximum bit rate: 19.2 kbps
  • Baud rate: 2400
  • Compression: V.42bis/MNP5
  • Error correction: V.42/MNP 4
  • Modulation: 8QAM and TCM
