Project Management Glossary

Human Resource Management (HRM).  Human resource management (HRM) seeks to make the most effective use of people in the project.

Human Resource Management Software (HRM Software).  Human resource management software (HRM Software) is particularly useful in large projects with large numbers of staff.

Human Resource Management Tools (HRM Tools).  Human resource management tools (HRM tools) are particularly useful in large projects with large numbers of staff.

Human Resource Manager (HR Manager).  While managing the other resources associated with a project is important, a significant portion of a project manager's time is spent in managing staff. In large projects the project manager will have the assistance of a human resource manager (HR manager)
