Information Technology Project Management (IT Project Management). Information technology project management (IT project management) relates to the project management of projects involving large-scale use of information technology and communications and information systems. Initiation is the formal process by which a project is authorised and planning begins. Integration Management. Project integration management is concerned with ensuring that the elements making up a project are properly coordinated so that project goals are achieved. An important aspect of project integration management is making tradeoffs between competing or conflicting objectives. Invitation to Bid (IFB). Invitation to bid is another term for request for proposal. Invitation to Register Interest (ITR). An invitation to register interest (ITR) is the process whereby an acquirer (buyer) requests expressions of interest and selected information (in a defined format) from potential developers. IT Project. An IT project involves the large-scale use of information technology and communications and information systems. IT Project Management. IT project management is the process whereby a centralised authority (the project manager) manages project activities to meet the overall project goals and objectives for IT-based projects.
