Request for Proposal (RFT). The request for proposal (RFP) is the process (the document) by which an acquirer (a buyer) calls for tenders from potential developers (sellers). Request for Quotation (RFQ). Request for quotation is another term for request for proposal. Request for Tender (RFT). Request for tender is another term for request for proposal. Reserve. Reserve is an amount of the project budget that is set aside to account for any unforeseen costs in a project Rework.
