Project Management Glossary

Tasks.  Tasks are the lowest level of break down in a project schedule.

Team Development.  Team development initially involves forming the team but it then involves maintaining the needs of the team throughout the project.

Tender.  The tender is the formal document by which an acquirer (a buyer) calls for tenders from potential developers (sellers).

Tender Evaluation.  Tender evaluation is another term for source selection.

Time-and-Materials Contract.  A time-and-materials contract is one in which the developer is paid to perform work based on the reimbursement of effort and resources.

Time Control.  Time control encompasses those activities undertaken by project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management.  Time management encompasses those activities undertaken by project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management Courses.  Time management courses are designed to provide the training necessary to support project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management Skills.  Time management skills are those necessary to support project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management Software.  Time management software provides the software applications necessary to support project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management System.  A time management system incorporates those activities and tools utilised by project managers and other managers in managing their schedules.

Time Management Tools.  Time management tools support the project manager in managing the project schedule.
