Waterfall Model. The Waterfall Model is a life-cycle model applied to the project management ans systems engineering of a product. WBS Software. WBS software provides a tool to allow the project manager to visualise the work breakdown structure associated with the project. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). A work breakdown structure (WBS) provides a hierarchically structured decomposition of the activities (grouped into work packages) that are required to be completed to complete the project. Work Package. A work package is the basic building block of a work breakdown structure.
