Information on Budget Manager

The budget manager is responsible to ensure that the allocated project budget is not exceeded during the conduct of the activities associated with the delivery of the product. Often the project manager is also the budget manager in small projects. Even in large projects where there is a specific budget manager, the project manager is still responsible for overall budget management, which is one of the fundamental elements of project management. The budget manager performs cost control or budget management, and is often assisted by some form of budget management software or budget management tool.
