Information on Budget Management

Budget management is one of the principal responsibilities of a project manager, who must deliver the acquired product on time and on budget. To ensure that the budget is not exceeded the project manager is responsible to manage the costs of each of the activities associated with the delivery of the product. Project management is therefore fundamentally involved in budget management, which is also often called cost control or cost budgeting.
