Information on Contingency Fund

A contingency fund is required to allow sufficient funds are available to cope with any contingency events that may arise during the conduct of the project. Contingency fund is supported by contingency planning which ensures that the project is able to accommodate the occurrence of any risk events. A contingency fund is formalised in a contingency plan, which normally results from a formal risk management process.
