Information on Contingency Plan

A contingency plan is required to ensure that processes and resources are available to cope with any contingency events that may arise during the conduct of the project. A contingency plan is developed by a contingency planning process which ensures that the project is able to accommodate the occurrence of any risk events. A contingency plan normally results from a formal risk management process.
