Information on Critical Path

The critical path is the series of activities (critical activities) that dictate the duration of the project; that is, the series of activities that dictate the longest path through the project. The critical path is obvious from the Gantt chart, or bar chart. Critical path planning is assisted by critical path planning software, such as Microsoft Project, PlanBee , DOVICO, YZ Project Manager, and MinuteMan.
