Information on Project Management Information System

A Project Management Information System (PMIS) comprises a number of tools and techniques (both automated and manual) that are used to collect, analyse, and distribute project management plans and outcomes. In complex projects, a Project Management Information System (PMIS) is essential to ensure the smooth running of the project. In small projects, the financial overheads of a Project Management Information System (PMIS) may not be warranted.
