Information on Project Scope Management

Project scope management aims to ensure that all work required for the project is carried out, without any effort being wasted on extraneous activities that are outside the scope of the project. Project scope management is therefore concerned primarily with setting out what is within the scope of the project and what is not.
     Project Scope Management is one of the nine knowledge areas defined by the PMBOK .
