Information on Doppler Blind Speed

Doppler blind speed is a major weakness of moving target indicator (MTI) radar. Each time the Doppler shift is an integral multiple of the radar pulse-repetition frequency (PRF), the moving target indicator (MTI) radar receiver returns a zero response and no target is identified even though the target is clearly moving. The speeds corresponding to these values are called Doppler blind speeds.
