Information on Doppler Radar

Doppler radar allows the speed of a target to be measured using the Doppler effect. When a signal from a radar is scattered by a target, its frequency is changed in proportion to the speed of the target. By measuring this change in frequency, a doppler radar is able to infer the target's speed.
