Information on Jammer

A jammer aims to degrade the operation of a radio receiver by transmitting a jamming signal that is received at higher power than other signals, and hopefully prevents them from being received at all.
     The type of signal transmitted by a jammer is often a noise signal.
     Jamming techniques commonly employed by a jammer include:

  • a spot jamming
  • barrage jamming, and
  • sweep jamming.

  •      A radar jammer is a type of jammer designed specifically designed to jam radar receivers.
