Information on Radar Reflector

A radar reflector is a passive device that is designed to be ab efficient reflector of radar signals, giving a strong return to the radar. A radar reflector might be used by a small boat to increase the likelihood of the boat being detected by radars on large ships in the vicinity. In military use, a radar reflector might be used as a decoy.
     One of the most important properties of a radar reflector is its radar cross section, which its apparent size.
