Information on Satellite Radar

Satellite radar systems can be used for a variety of surveillance applications. A satellite radar is often based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology. An important limitation on the resolution of a satellite radar is the long range to the target. A satellite radar is therefore often carried by a low-earth-orbit satellite.
