Information on Swept Jamming

Swept jamming aims to counter a number of different radar systems spread in frequency over a wide band by continuously sweeping the jamming frequency across the band. A number of ships operating in cooperation may present this scenario. The swept jamming technique also applies to so-called frequency agile radars that jump from one operating frequency to the next in an attempt to defeat electronic attack (EA).
Swept jamming is also known as sweep jamming.
