In general usage, a concept is a general notion.
In a concept map, a concept is also
an idea or general notion. Concepts range from hard, physical
ideas, or notions, to fuzzy ideas which involve or describe
entities without measurable units. Just as in cognitive mapping where
individual concepts are expressed as a call for action, in
concept mapping the same conventions are followed.
