Information on Feedback

Feedback occurs when part or all of the output of a system re-enters as the input. Feedback is also used to describe the return of information to influence the next stage in the system. For detailed treatment of feedback and its implications for social science and systems theory, see Richardson (1991).
Feedback is also used to describe the delivery of reassurance or corrective information upon which learning is based (Forsyth).
