The process coach focuses not at all on content
but rather on the dynamics of individuals and sub-groups within
the group. Richardson and Anderson have found it both useful
and annoying that their process coach is not a
system dynamics modeller; such a person can observe unwanted effects
of jargon in word and icon missed by people closer
to the field. The process coach tends to serve
the facilitator; his efforts being largely invisible to the client
group (Richardson and Andersen (1995: 113-137).
