Information on Satellite Internet Providers

Satellite internet providers offer broadband internet access using a satellite. Internet downloads are usually carried over the satellite, with a back channel via a conventional modem and telephone dial-up link. There is no requirement for the telephone network to be operated by the same provider as the satellite internet service.
